As each holiday approaches and I mean every holiday, someone mysteriously changes the attire of the water guy.
He sits on the side of the road and has been decorated for years by someone or some persons in Santa outfits, patriotic clothing, witches, pilgrim garb, etc. I find myself looking forward to the changes just to see what they come up with.
He is almost always waiving at motorists. In the many years I have driven by him (sometimes 10 times a week), I have never seen the person(s) who decorate him. They must come and go in the middle of the night, although I have driven by countless times and never seen anyone during all sorts of late hours.
So who dresses the water guy?
